That chart is off with the ages. The silent generation ended in 1945. Someone has terrible math skills. If born in 1945 you would be 80.I always identified as a "Boomer" but as I just turned 73 the chart has me in the "Silent Generation" category.![]()
The years for Boomer says '46 to '64 so you're a Boomer... and so am I.I always identified as a "Boomer" but as I just turned 73 the chart has me in the "Silent Generation" category.![]()
ME TOO!! But as I get older, I do give my opinion more freely.I'm the silent type LOL!!
Are we allowed to dispute statements like this?I'm the silent type LOL!!
Maybe that Generation is called the 'Silent Type' because theyI'm the silent type LOL!!
Yes. I think the chart is screwy with the age differential parts. Sorry about that. But I think the years and categories are correct. That chart is off with the ages.
agreed... horrid chart! That chart is off with the ages. The silent generation ended in 1945. Someone has terrible math skills. If born in 1945 you would be 80.
According to your chart, at 1943, I'm the tail end of the silent generation, although I doubt we are any more silent than the others. We were just a small group without much birthing going on because most of the men were off fighting in WWII. I've always thought of myself as from the War Baby generation.I think we've had a thread about this before, but might be fun to give it another whirl.
I'm at the tail end of the Boomers, and right near the beginning of Gen X. I was born in 1966.
