NO, definitely not in the 70's that was our era of Disco.. and then later Punk....
My mum was only 8 years older than Bobby , so she might have known his songs better..

I’m the same age as you and Bobby was very popular in the states. But my sister is 8 years older than me so she was always playing her music although she tended to like Elvis and James brown. I’m guessing some stars are more popular in one country than others.

Loved Here Come the Brides... Bobby and David Soul in the same show! I always found the song funny that "the bluest skies you've ever seen are in Seattle" when Seattle sees a lot of rain.I had a big crush on him back long ago! I had a poster of him. I watched Here comes the brides with him in it. How sad for him to have passed. RIP Bobby

As a retiree from San Bernardino Co. Sheriff's Dept I get email notification of retirements and notice when members pass on. I had forgotten, but Bobby Sherman used to be a Reserve Deputy with our department.
