Ways to deal with the heat (In a song or picture).

Just walking in the parking lot to throw away trash was enough for me, and my doctor called and ask me to come in. Since I walk everywhere, that's not happening. I will go next week.

Our first summer here 20 years ago told us we couldn't handle the summer heat. So we got an air conditioner and it has worked well all these years. Then our son moved in and he thinks we keep too cool ...cold in fact, so he has a space heater in his room. Roasting in there! We sneak the AC on when he is out.LOL

When I was a teenager at my first job and working on the 3rd floor. We never had air-conditioners and had to contend with a huge fan and tie wet tea towels to the outside cage then turn the fan on full blast. It was lovely but only lasted about half an hour then somebody had to re-wet the tea towel again. Oh, the Good old days.
 
When I was doing handyman work for others and had to work in the heat, I would bring a small lunch tote filled with ice (Which turned to ice water), and also a hand towel. When I got hot, I would wring out the hand towel after dipping it in the cold water, and then put it on my head with most of the towel covering my neck under my hat. Then I found out they already made a hat where the drape was integrated, so I bought one. Then when I went fishing, I would just dip the hat in the lake and slap it on. It worked great.
