38 Years Ago Today My First Grandson Was Stillborn

I never got to hold him, but I have a picture of him and he looked just like my son. Sadly, his mother's birthday was 5 days later...no happy birthday that year. My DIL has been gone for 3-1/2 years. She and her twin are now with their babies (her twin had lost an infant and a grown son). May they all continue resting in paradise.

To lose a baby or a child to me would be the absolute worse thing to happen. So very sorry for the sad losses.

Thank you so much for sharing with us. All I can say is I'm sorry for your loss and sorry that your grandson didn't grow up to know a wonderful, loving grandmother. At least your DIL knew you well and knew how much you loved her.
