No problem Trila, and yes i had a great day thanks to the
lovely folks on here SF...!!! welp I'm up, slept fitfully, could it
be those horror shows I am streaming, binging on?? LOL...
Got some usual aches n pains going on....oh well...sun is out
and we had another overnite rain, may get more today, not
as hot, prediction is 85F, which is okay....Make it a great day
for yourself okay!!!!! :love::confused::devilish::coffee:

Morning all, my early walk at 6:50, a surprise it was lightly raining, temp was 72 as I walked around building before breakfast
My shoulders are a tiny bit sore from yesterday's exercise class but not my legs, they feel fine
As I type this, the sun is now out going to be a very warm&humid day here temps near 90,won;t be taking my afternoon walk, will see how warm it is by 10am
No other plans today, read my book, having dinner tonight at 6pm in dining room with Connie and 3 other residents, look forward to it

Good morning, sunshine here but rain again in the afternoon. It gets so hot and humid, it causes the rain with thunder in the afternoon hours.

I am waiting for my grocery delivery. The shopper sends so many texts about anything on the items. I guess she wants to make sure it is okay with me.

My problem with walking in store parking lots is I have to yield to cars instead of them yielding to me. I have to move out of the way to avoid getting hit. Too many cars in a small shopping center.

Have a wonderful day, everyone. :)

Left: The sun behind ocean fog in July --- We are living in the so-called Inland Empire between the coastal Santa Ana Mountains and the 10,000 feet high San Bernardino Mountain Range, about one hour driving from the ocean. Typically, we have ocean fog rolling in from early May to mid-June. But this year, we still have some ocean fog in July. Well, maybe ten years ago, I read a study claiming that the Los Angeles Basin will be one of the few beneficiaries of climate change with milder winters and cooler summers. Could the current ocean fog be an indication of it? I cross my fingers and keep hoping. Right: Brie Cheese on Pumpernickel bread imported from Germany is a delicacy for me.

I have to ask my wife, but I think this Plumeria flower (thanks for the name @hearlady) she planted is the one that is used for the Hawaiian leis.

Right: I had a dozen trees cut by a tree service company. One falling branch smashed a garden faucet. They replaced it but the
faucet was leaking. Now I am replacing it with a new faucet. This is just one aspect of the joy of home ownership.

Happy Saturday, July 12th!

Oh my gosh, by yesterday afternoon I was feeling my age... It wasn't so much five days of daycare with the baby or five days of doggie care for DD's two dogs (plus my own), as it was the combination of the two.

The dogs go home today.

DH asked me with great admiration in his voice, "How did you do it with our three toddlers plus a big dog, 5 days a week for all those years." I reminded him that I was almost 40 years younger in those days.

Today will be a do-nothing day, and not a moment too soon. Tomorrow we'll have our 3 year old GS for a few hours in the afternoon - he has a birthday party in the morning. He looks so forward to being with us and we with him, that we didn't want to decline despite knowing his baby brother will be with us M-F again next week.

Yesterday when he and his mom were picking up his brother, he asked how many more "sleeps" until he could spend the day. I told him only two more, and his little face lit up.

The flower is Plumeria, I believe. Beautiful!

90 )degree weather. UGH

Neither of us have done much outdoor work today.

In fact I've done very little indoor work, either.

Time to water the plants outside.

One of the deer has been sleeping in the barn,,no doors to keep her out.
I think the insects are bothering her.

We thought something had killed her fawn.
Walking Mac along the wood-line & large fawn jumped up & ran away from us.
The doe was eating in the flied,, took after the fawn.

Sad thing is, I don't see any forks... You might need to pull out another drawer. Literally.
I only have about 3 forks....because I think I have accidently probably thrown some away with trash. Tried getting it back in, but my fat fingers cannot get it to line up on the metal track that runs up the center. Called apartment mantainence to come Monday to help
