So what's going on with AI generated music. It sounds great, but it's not on Amazon music, and also Soundhound can't find either one of these songs. I would like to add them to a playlist because I love music from this era, but apparently there must be some issues with copywrite or artist compensation, or something.

I can't answer any of that. I just repost YouTube videos that come up on my feed.
I just know that Carol King is out of a job and has been replaced by a computer program.

It's hard to say. It may be possible that music artists will use it as a tool and tweak what AI comes up with. Musicians and singers have been gradually incorporating technology into their music creations. The electric guitars have a multitude of sound effects now, as does sophisticated keyboards. I think Cher even used it in the song "I Believe". I think it was experimenting with auto-tune.

Anyway, it may be too early to see what musicians will do with this, but even chefs use microwaves in their cooking, so who knows. All I know is it sounds good to me.

It does sound good and I agree that's all we want. Not every AI video I've watched turns out as good.
