Video shows US missile bouncing off UAP

Besides having watched several UFO documentaries, I have seen videos filmed by pilots and astronauts of suspected UFOs. The pilots and astronauts had no doubt they were extra terrestrial due to the maneuvers these crafts made. Maybe with this video having been released by (another) official organization, people will take the probability of us being visited more seriously.

What in heaven's name were they thinking? Any civilizations advanced enough to send objects here from light years away would certainly have the ability to do damage here if they wished. None ever have.

I won't see it in my lifetime, but eventually aliens from the cosmos will meet with humans here. Won't that be something.

Tbf, probably the last thing on their mind at the time was that it was something from another world. They likely assumed it was some kind of enemy combatant. You can't just wait for it to do some damage.... it's all self defense.

Not that it did much.

The thing is, if these are from another world, then seeing them is the least of it. They're somehow able to travel vast distances, all undetected. Let's be honest, they either can travel at light speeds, or they're multi-dimensional. Maybe both. Which suggests access to amounts of power we can't generate. I mean, if these are real, then we're a long long way behind.

Yes indeed. That "long way behind" could be a million years head start on us in the evolutionary race!

I've always said that we humans assume aliens can't travel here because of the time it takes, the distance, etc. But we are judging what they can and can't do by our knowledge. That's like doctors from the 18th century trying to conceive what the medical field has available in the 21st century. They could not. What you've mentioned above (which I bolded) are certainly possibilities, especially if the aliens are thousands and thousands of years more advanced than we are. After all, scientists are finally publicly admitting to the possibility of parallel universes, something that was thought of as science fiction years ago.

The key thing here is that scientists don't know what they don't know. I believe extraterrestrials have discovered how to travel beyond the speed of light.

We don't have the capacity to imagine how far ahead of us alien cultures are. And it's entirely possible that many different alien cultures have visited us. At least the government has started being a little more straightforward about some of what they know. I don't see why there should be any secrecy. Much of the public already believes that we've been visited, and we're obviously not in any danger.

Anyone that still thinks the Hellfire missile incident moves the mark closer to credibility, really ought to watch my provided above link that rather convincingly points, at least in this case, to being a weather balloon. That noted, there is still significant logic pointing to We Are Not Alone, and have and will continue to be discretely visited.

That position is common among less science knowledgeable persons that then may speculate in ways most science knowledgeable persons would greatly narrow possibilities for. Especially ways popularized by media science fiction. For example, "...We don't have the capacity to imagine how far ahead of us alien cultures are..." would IMO be better framed as "We don't have the capacity to accurately imagine how far ahead of us alien cultures are, while we do given enormous advances in science, now have the capacity to greatly narrow what is likely possible."

Included in that would be such scifi favorites as warp drive or near light speed travel. Although many reports have shown incredible speed, direction, and acceleration capabilities, none are anywhere near even light speed, just far beyond that of we current Earth monkeys. That is also why the "little green men" narratives are being replaced by more likelihood of non-organic AI mechanical entities that are near immortal if not physically destroyed.

We just don't know. I think that perhaps we have to be more creative in our thinking. When we consider flying from point A to point B, we're perhaps being too simplistic. So for example, the good old fashioned Warp Drive (where we distort space time) might be how they're doing it (if indeed they are). There is also the concept of multi-dimensional travel. Those feel extra strange, but in reality are they really less likely?

Still, theories aren't hard to come by. If we are indeed being visited, it stands to reason that we have no idea how it's being done.

I think there are some obvious reasons for secrecy. The usual culprits: Power, money, and control among them. Whichever nation was able to build and use this tech would be leagues ahead of everyone else. Bob Lazar has spoken about his work on trying to back engine alien tech (if you believe his story) and he's clear that we (man) simply don't understand his the craft operate. This extends to the use of materials we've yet to be able to make due to a lack of stable isotope 115.

There is a religious aspect to this too. If there is life on other planets, then some of what many religions accept would have been proven incorrect, or at the very least, not completely making sense (in so far as a God creating a world can make sense). For example, if we find that infact, we were seeded on this planet at some point by some process or other, the story of creation becomes whimsical. Not that we're anywhere near this point............

More disclosures are happening, but sadly the dial doesn't really seem to be moving. Blurry videos in infrared may be impressive, but it's not irrefutable evidence.

Well that's the thing. I would guess that such travel is beyond our comprehension. The human race thinks we can understand everything, but I think some things are simply beyond the ability of our minds. Reference movie "Arrival."

Well, reference the UNIVERSE! We can't really appreciate how large it is. Nor that it's expanding. We know it through scientific research, but it's difficult to appreciate. As is the fact that the Earth travels 1.6m miles per day around the Sun. Yikes!

But you're correct. This would make meeting an alien a very tricky proposition. They'd always be talking down to us. :D
