I'm exercising my creativity in public (Acrylic Painting, Poetry Reading)

It began about a month ago. I volunteered to read one of my poems at our first talent show. I had not read anything in public since I was 16 years old.

Everyone loved the poem. They all applauded. They applauded even more when I said I'd written the poem. Wow, I was surprised and elated.

Then about the same time I signed up for a painting with acrylics class. It lasts 7 weeks. People like my art. They say I "channel" Van Gogh.

Very nice Ron, thanks for sharing. Keep going, looks like fun!

You said "our" talent show. Who is "our"? Good for you for sharing your poem? Care to share it with us too? Have you written more? Gee, I'm asking a lot of questions aren't I. :D I feel like I'm back at work. I like you art too. It's great that you are now embracing your creative side.

Our apartment building had its first talent show. The large community room was packed.

**** I just uploaded the PDF file of the poem. "There's a Place."
