Seasonable temps, sunny and no rain in the forecast for the next 10 days! We're having drought conditions. The grass crunches when I walk over my lawn. I've been taking dehumidifier condensate out for my apple trees. Don't know if it's helping much - they have dropped most of their leaves. Some trees do this when it's been dry for a while in an attempt to conserve water.

It's been pleasant, not much rain and not too hot. The days have been in the low 80's, nights around 65 degrees, so no need for the AC.

Current map of drought conditions in New York State. I am about where the red x is. It seems much worse than the "moderate" depicted. The last time we had any precip was Sept 7th and it was just a splash-and-dash. But some areas are worse.

Unreasonably warm. 82° currently. It'll drop to 62° tonight prompting me to break out the comforters. I bought this house 4 years ago and even though it has a functioning fireplace, I've never built a fire in it. I'll have to rectify that this fall.

Sunny and dry - seasonable temps although it dropped below 40F juts before 6am this morning. I hope my plants that are outside were able to tolerate it.
