I am SOOOOO SICK TO DEATH of all the bad news in the world. Yeah It’s good to stay informed, but it seems these days bad news is all that gets talked about.

I discovered “The Good News Network” and thought I would share for those who are as equally disgusted with so much focus on the bad stuff.

The Good News Network: Positive Stories 24/7
 

I use that site to just help me know there are healthy news items going on.
I posted a couple articles from that site here.
I had decided I will not purposely view or add to the madness on certain things and I just scroll past them now.
Life is way too short to live it riled up everyday.

Thank you for posting this Imogene. I too am very tired of all the bad news. I have a friend who bathes herself in it and at some point I have to cut her off and/or change courses during which time I can make her laugh hysterically. She always appreciates it. We've had good news threads here before. Ironically, they seem to get the least attention! So much for people wanting the hear/read good news.

I get my nightly taste of good news from World News Tonight (ABC). At the end of each and every broadcast, they do an America Strong (on Fridays it's Person(s) of the week) segment. The stories are about people who do remarkable, charitable, amazing things to spread love and help those in their neighborhoods, communities and even throughout the country. Often, these remarkable people are children; sometimes even centenarians. I also find good news via other sources.
 
Unfortunately we have to search for the good news when the bad news smacks us in the face every day. There are lots of good people out there doing amazing things.
