A question for the ladies

I've had these earring (all for pierced ears, so I can't use them) at my garage sale and for sale online. $1 for each set or all for $5 (the original prices on them were in the $6 top $8 range). There's been no interest. They are brand new and still in their packages. Since I am not a expert on fashion, I wanted some opinions on them as to maybe why nobody wants them?

This might not apply to others but I stopped wearing earrings during he pandemic. The mask would get tangled with the earrings and glasses. I never really got back in the habit but when I did it was a simple hoop or button.

If you haven’t sold them by now, I don’t know how Etsy works in terms of the seller, but you might try putting them on Etsy.

My ears have been pierced forever, but I had to stop wearing earrings after I ripped one out when a tree branch fell on my head that I was cutting down

Lesson number one - while I always took my rings off to do outside work. I never did take my earrings out - big mistake. The tree branch caught the earring and ripped my ear lobe wide open. Yeah I could’ve got it sewn shut but I was in my late 50s and figured let it go.

I'm going tbh with you Deb... I wouldn't buy them.. they're cheap and old fashioned looking...

I wear Earrings all the time... but as you're asking, and appreciate an honest answer..I wouldn't be interested in any of those..

Earnings are also something many people don't buy very cheap versions of.

I wouldn't even if i liked them - they cause reactions after wearing for very short time

Just donate them and get them out of the house...

I agree, sorry deb.

Does it really matter why people don’t want them.

There isn’t much you can do to change them or make them more attractive to buyers other than lower the price.

Donate or toss them and move on.
