Doesn't mean it's a thread for guys only. It's just a thread for things that guys are often interested in.
It can be tools, cars, boats, motorcycles and off-roading, sports, fishing and hunting, heavy machinery or equipment, engineering, woodworking and carpentry, backpacking and camping, survival skills, grilling techniques, hobbies, etc....

I've always been mechanically inclined and since retirement have spent some time rebuilding antique small engines, 1930's and 40's era. Searching for parts revealed an entire community of old guys doing the same thing, bringing old engines back to life.

Why you wonder? Because it's fun to start up a ninety year old engine and listen to it putt putt putt away. Most definantly a guy thing!

Still need the correct air intake but below is a 1939 Briggs & Stratton model Z I rebuilt. Wish I could attach the video just so you could hear the sound, it's a beautiful thing.

I like 4WD trucks, football and classic cars. And sometimes when I am watching all the hens cluck at work and I'm sitting there with the guys rolling my eyes I often understand why men are the way they are around women. Can I be an honerary man? LOL!

That is so cool. I love it.

A man and his home built man cave.

Still work in progress, but eventually it will have a lift so he can lower his car into his 'cave'.
