Books! How do you read and what do you read?

If anyone likes Jan Karon's Mitford books, #15 was published on October 7: My Beloved.

I love her books, but I thought she had retired, so I was surprised to find out about this one.

Oh, I've read those. I used to love that series.

I'm all up in Star Trek (and romance) novels right now. The Mitford series is really great, though. :)

I just finished the first of three books my brother sent me for my birthday. Hail Mary.
Very unique story. The movie title is Project Hail Mary. I hope the movie lives up to the book.

I just looked this up - the story sounds very interesting! Thanks for the recommendation!

I enjoyed reading The Martian by the same author (Andy Weir).

This is a book essentially for younger people I think, but I thought I'd post it here because I fully intend to buy a copy for my grandson. He is only 8 years old but, like many young children he's starting to feel the pressure of life in the 21st century and there are so messages in this book that highlight those values. that are important in life. It has recently been made into a short animated movie which is available on apple tv.
