Great thing about being old is I can leave as much cookie dough on the beaters as I want!

I still lick the beaters when I make whipped cream, what happens in the kitchen stays in the kitchen.

I’d hand the beaters, and extra spoons coated with the mix, to my kids….with 5 kids, two beaters were clearly not enough!
I still do it, but now it’s to Ron!

My mother didn't bake or make any desserts. She always had fresh fruits around.
To placate my sweets-loving father, she would buy things.
There were however, a few banana breads and once she baked peanut butter cookies with me.
It was ok with me. I had allowance to spend on junk and Dad I would stop during errands for sundaes or candy bars.
