Woman Found Decomposing in Police Car Park

This is a very strange tale. A woman's decomposing body has been found outside a major local police station.

It is thought she was living in her car but with the extreme heat recently it is thought that she had been there several days.

Police are investigating how a woman died and remained undiscovered for three days in a police station car park on the south coast.

The 48-year-old woman's body was found in a blue Toyota Yaris parked out the front of Lake Illawarra Police Station on Pioneer Drive about 4:30pm on Friday.

The poor lady probably drove there with her last bit of strength, hoping she would be found and helped.

I wouldn’t have wanted to be the person that opened the door. The stench probably set them down or made them ill. I have smelled a dead, rotting corpse. It’s worse than finding a dead deer that laid for days. I was out walking on our farm when I was about 16 and I came upon a rotting deer. It really smelled bad. A human corpse is much worse.
