Dressed Cement Porch Goose

Did anyone have one? I had one and she had 20+ outfits. Sold her when I moved and I wish I still had her.
My niece is getting one this Christmas from her mother, complete with several outfits, or so I'm told.
I can't remember ever hearing of them before, but then again, a lot of cheese has been slipping off my cracker lately.
Oh well...

They were very popular around here about 20 years ago. I didn't have one, but I enjoyed driving by the regulars in the neighborhood, one of them had a far bigger wardrobe than I ever had.

Now you all have made me want one!

I, too, have never heard of such geese. When our kids were young, those pink plastic flamingos became a bit of a running family joke. We somehow acquired a pair of them for the lawn. They were given the names George and Gracie (any Burns and Allen fans here?). For a couple of years they would be decorated with seasonal or holiday attire.

Sorry, that was in the days before digital photography co no pictures.

I put antlers, santa hats and big red noses on two big plastic flamingos and have been putting them in my front yard for the last few Christmasses. Occasionally someone stops to take a picture. They're getting a bit ratty, though, so their years may be limited.

Wait. People buy an inanimate object and then clothes for that object, to be changed however often? To each his own, I suppose, LOL!
