Yes .. their only redeeming feature, was, they were easy to remove for cleaning.

I hate mine and their tiny screws designed to disappear when the hit the floor, and the flawed engineering that requires one hand to hold the glass from falling while unscrewing the tiny screws, all the while standing on a ladder. Not all mine are like that. The better ones aren't very good either, but most are a nightmare.

I like the screws on yours. They are big enough to be unscrewed with one finger and a thumb.

Lol! The one in the kitchen was replaced two years ago, shortly after moving into this house. As much as I am trying to maintain the '60's character of this house, this had to go.

Oh, yes indeedy. We had them. As JustDave said, they were the devil to take down, which you  had to occasionally as they collected dead moths that were attracted to the light.
