What a useless that is.
All their news stories are nothing but teasers, a couple of lines of the story then forced to click again to continue.
Hate it with a passion.
As often as I can, I use Google, simple, no 100 news stories on page.
Piss off MSN.
 

I have a small Acer Tablet and I did have an Acer desktop
at one point, in each case, I downloaded Mozilla Firefox
and set it to open Google as the home page, it works
without a problem in both cases.

There was a simple way to change it. I had this on my work laptop. So irritating. It used to be that you get Google with nothing recommended or the company page, but now I had all these screaming gossip stories. I think it took a year or two before I found out you could just change the settings.

Does google maps work with that set-up, Mike?
 
Yes it does Kaila, I never tried on the Tablet though,
but it did work on the desktop, in fact every computer
that I had since Google started, in the 90s.

My son is an IT Specialist and deals with all brands of computers, Acer is one of his favorites. You can change your home page anytime, Bret. Right now I am using a Lenovo, but have used Acers in the past. My home page is Kadaza, so I can click on what I want easily. It's like All My Faves, but has more choices.
