I used to love them but eventually grew tired of them like most of the other artists I used to listen to from that era. There are a handful of songs from them I still like enough to be in my rotation but I'm not interested in purchasing any of their CDs to get the songs. I did see them live and they had an amazing laser light show and sounded great.
What I do have is a great album by an artist I love, Juliana Hatfield, who covered a bunch of their songs. Since she didn't want to bring in strings she rearranged the songs for her album and they sound wonderful. She's put her own spin on them. The album is Juliana Hatfield Sings ELO. She has also done albums for songs of Oliva Newton John and The Police
