Can't Access Yahoo or Yahoo Mail

I just get the message:

Edge: Too Many Requests

I am not using Edge, I have Firefox.

I tried deleting the Yahoo cookie and cleaning the browser cache, but still can't open Yahoo.

I just now tried and I get the same message you did: "Edge: Too Many Requests." I'm not using Edge and never do. Chrome is my browser.

I just now tried again, and this time it worked. It wanted to send a code to my phone. Got that, entered it, then it temporarily hung up again saying something about couldn't create a passkey. All this marvelous technology we have is on the way to becoming unworkable. [I finally managed to get in, but it took awhile.]

I just tried it and it was okay but once in a while it does go through that pass key thing and I have to start all over again.
Same thing happens with Outlook live.
I use Chrome on a Mac

It's possible that a massive solar flare disrupted some internet satellites. I got a warning about that a few days ago.
I suppose this could be what's happening. My email comes in via my subscription with a customarily quite reliable regional email-hosting company. Of course, this independent company, in turn, must connect with a vast system.

I usually wake up to six (or ten?) emails... a few of them trashable, of course. This morning it was just one arriving at 7:06 PST, and the sender was an organization located in my province. ??

The solar flare warning I got said it was the largest spew of magnetized/active ions and radiation ever measured since we've had the capability to measure them, and that it would likely interfere with satellite signals off and on for a few weeks.
