I played Fortnite with my friends last night. Had a good time. I need to start playing more solo games to practice. Playing with 5 man teams is pretty chaotic. One team is getting shot at by 2 or 3 others and it's kinda hard to stay alive. LOL!

I have my phone so I will at least be able to still chat while I'm hunkered down at work.

Evergy sends me notifications if the power goes out and how long they estimate it will be down. I'm good to stay here if I need to.

My boss even gave me some free meal vouchers.
 
Almost done for the night. Gonna try to find another city with a loose mattress to double up for more comfort.

I snagged a pillow from a room i cleaned and will go down for linens for bed and shower.

The door doesn't lock so I pull my cart in behind it sideways so it's blocking the door. Works to keep people out.

The housekeepers still had 12 rooms to clean at 9. There's 4 of them so they should be ok.
 
How much snow have you gotten so far?

It started here very light about an hour ago with no accumulation, but isn't supposed to become heavy until 10 or so. My kid doesn't get off work until 11 pm & I hope she doesn't have too much trouble getting home.

Honestly idk. I think it's drifted in places. At least 6 inches from what I've heard. But, idk. AccuWeather says it will stop after midnight. We'll see.
 
So far we have about 6" of snow over night & it's supposed to continue all day. It's all light & fluffy so far & the dog has been enjoying himself in it.

I don't see very much movement on I-70 & the one traffic came I pulled up shows one lane each way. With the wind blowing, they'll have enough problems keeping just that open. We'll plow out the drive way in a few hours so the kid & get into work.

@katlupe Thank you. I managed but I miss my bed.

Putting some caffeine into me. Gotta do my breathing treatment and start getting ready for work. Planning to clean the room before I leave it. Take my trash and linens to the basement and get something to eat before work.

Can't wait to get this day over with and go home.
