Welcome to the forum, Calboybob! I just discovered your thread. Sorry about losing your wife! I had a similar experience. My husband died from a massive stroke unexpectedly. It's been 12 years now. What helped me was keeping busy, taking care of my son, and joining this group. It's a great bunch of people!

Thank you for the welcome palides, and the condolences. Yesterday was the 1 year mark since she passed. I stopped counting the months a while back but it's hard not to remember that date. Yes I have been busy too since she passed and I believe it helped. Glad you found your way here and welcome to you also. :)
 
@Calboybob I just discovered your thread and am enjoying your posts. A belated welcome to you! You seem to have all your ducks in a row, and will add a lot to the forum, I'm glad you staked your claim here!
