The goings-on are too complicated to follow, but my viewpoint is:
If he (and others in similar situations) are guilty, they should accept the consequences..
However, if he's innocent, he shouldn't 'settle,' because all that does is give the message that rich celebrities are easy targets.

If he's not a self respecting individual, why should anyone believe he's telling the truth? Also...if he is telling the truth, he should lose his license and how many other patients of his that reported sexual abuse did he let slide?
It reminds of when that dentist accused Michael Jackson of child abuse. It's funny when Michael Jackson paid him 20 million dollars, he immediately forgot about the charges. 20 million dollars or not, no self respecting parent that truly believed their child, would sell their child out for any amount of money. They would want to see their child abuser punished by the full extent of the law. What he did was prostitute his child out?

You're absolutely right. It doesn't sound possible that a doctor would say such a thing.
We don't know what was actually said, as in the 'truth.'

The operative word says it all, ACTOR. Doesn't that tell us from the get go that one is not showing us the real self?

This isn't related to T. Busfield, just the show in general: are the episodes that are currently on new, or from years ago?

The reason I'm wondering is there are 3 different L&O series on my "t.v.-like device," I don't usually know when/where shows are on, but happened to see an episode last night. Wondering if it was something that was filmed recently, or if it was a rerun.
