A spacious room is in danger of being a cold room. This is a cold room, sterile, where children and popcorn and chocolate are not welcome.

I like the light, the space, the lack of clutter and the big windows. I dislike the seating, it looks uncomfortable. In the hot weather, all that glass would make it feel like living in a green house. I think it lacks imagination and comfort. I'd rate it as zero for a living space but, 10 if it's the foyer in a smart hotel or an exhibition space or similar.

I do not like the room. Maybe I could go with the white walls and stairs, if the floor was dark or had some color, and at least a vase arrangement of flowers was on the table for starters.
I'm assuming it's vacated for showing and the future occupants will add some personality.

Don’t care for either room pictured.
The first one is too boring. I have no white walls or ceilings in my house so of course I don’t like it. The second one is way too cluttered.

When you see the room in context with the rest of the house… It makes a lot more sense. Plus, as you could see in the photos there is color throughout the house. I still don’t like all those white walls, though!

You have coloured ceilings? All our ceilings are white but all our walls are coloured. They are all neutral colours but I like them. We have Tapestry colour for our living room, dining room, kitchen and sunroom.
