however you have to remember that this is not simply about who he looks like. These rumours began decades ago.. doubtless by people within the RF..business per se .. within the palace... that's usually how things are leaked...
 
The rumors about Andrew and Lord Porchester remind me of something my mother told me.

My mother had some male cousins. One cousin had a son, that didn't look like his father but like another of my mother's cousins who was living only some miles away. And this cousin and his wife, who didn't have own children as a couple, were always very caring for this boy and young man.

Thus my mother one day frankly asked her cousin, if he is the boy's father. He replied: "I don't know".

My dad once said that he could have loads of half brothers. We know of 1 in Brazil or something, but he said when he was a kid he saw boys who looked just like him and he wouldn't be surprised if they were half brothers. Grandpa was like prince Bernhard and cheated with half the neighbourhood.

Now I see who he looks like. Same nose. Same chin. Same smile. Ha! She had that same tooth. On the right. It's a bit to the front.
 
^^ that seems a non issue to me though - i n reality succession goes t o William, his 3 children, Harry, his 2 children, not sure whether Princess Anne and children/grandchildren come next or Andrew - but removing him from succession seems unneccesary anyway for obvious reason.
 
Really who cares about their parentage? The whole lot are an entitled, rich, pampered mob of useless individuals, waited on hand and foot, neither use nor ornament who spend their lifes living off the public purse pretending they have a real job. They are driven to engagements where they read a speech written by someone else, afterwards they are fed and then driven way.

They really are an awful shower of bludgers whatever their parentage.

however when they all resemble their parents except one.. and the word has always been that his father is someone else, especially when he looks so much like that supposed father .. I think people should believe it...

Since then I've been rather wary of anything I read about the royal family, and I am now no longer the staunch royalist I was when Elizabeth 2nd was alive. As to whether she did in fact have an affair with Lord Porchester, with Andrew being the issue, I'm still in two minds, but I can't personally see any family likeness between Andrew and Philip, yet I can see a bit of a likeness between Andrew and Porchester.

The prince, Andrew, is certainly the best looking of the late queen's brood, but I see no resemblance whatsoever between him and this other chap.

I see our minds are running the same track here, @Rakaia ... I thought of that when seeing these comparison pics of Andrew as well. I do believe that the relationship timeline disproved that one, but I sure remember *those* side-by-side pictures, and in my mind at the time, there was no mistake. 🤷‍♀️

there is no ''royal ''person called Harry hewitt. The only ''hewitt'' was James Hewitt... who had an affair with Princess Diana.... nothing to do with Andrew....
