There is not going to be an oil crisis.
We will soon have control of their oil wells.
And the appreciative people of Iran will cut us a deal.

you are kidding * sarcasm*...they can't even stop the illegals coming every day up to a 1000...by boat....

Now they're saying their making arrangements to get the 95 thousand expats out of the middle east and back to the UK..... where are we going to put them ?..our hospitals, schools. doctors, dentists , roads.. can't cope as it is...

Unfortunatly they consider every Western country to be a fair target; we are dealing with a cornered Rat, and God only knows how many sleeper cells worldwide this will awaken.
 
I personally think there is something in the background that we are not privy to yet. Somethings do remain secret
so not to cause mass panic.. I have asked myself over and over.. why the suddenness of it.
It all comes down to one thing I can think of (now don't get to tongue lashing with emotion and think people).
I don't think it was the oil, what was/is the biggest fear of what Iran has been trying to obtain. Think about it.
It's the only rational reason that makes sense to me.

maybe ... but it's only been the US and the Uk they've attacked..if they start attacking.. any other Northern European country.. or Canada, Australia and NZ.. then I'll believe it... :(

It’s the tail wagging the dog. Look up the phrase. I can’t discuss it. It’s political. IMO

Yes, I know what it means as well as I know there are times we are not privy to things that need kept secret.
I personally need to hope there is a greater reason than what I have been reading so far.... and if by chance a bigger
harm has been avoided? Why is that so wrong for something to hope for?

You can hope for something but that doesn’t make it true. No bigger harm has been avoided. The world is less safe than it was before because of this.
