Hats off to this public servant. Not too many LE officers stick around past their 20 or 25 years before retirement. I stayed 37 years, which is an unusual amount of time for a Trooper.

I bet he has some hair raising stories to tell. 99% of old time NYPD mof's wouldn't stay on the job one day past their 20 and out even if the department offered 4 times their retirement salary an benefits. RIP.
