Does anyone remember the old Columbia Record Club? You would pay a monthly fee and they would send you records. My grandmother got suckered into it and probably never listened to half the records that were sent. When we would visit I would listen to records like The Ventures and Herb Albert on her console stereo. That's where I learned to appreciate the great instrumentals.
