Advice on Potato Peelers

A totally unimportant question. As my potato peeler was dragging across the potatoes, I thought I’d ask here. Anyone have advice on potato/vegetable peelers.

Usually I buy Oxo brand, ~$13. Looking on Amazon they have peelers that are $25 and much more. One brand was suggested as never needing sharpening. I don’t believe that. And I sure don’t need anything to be aesthetically pleasing.

I prefer the style in the middle along with a paring knife for potato eyes and a bit of cleanup.

Mine is an inexpensive $tore version, I only peel a few potatoes or carrots so quality isn’t too important.

If I did a lot of cooking I would probably buy this OXO three piece peeler set for around $30.00.

I like the style on the left. I don’t peel many potatoes, mainly carrots. It’s probably what I’ll buy. I don’t want to spend a fortune, which it seems I could do if I wanted.

I have an OXO. Had it for years. What I don't do is put it in the dishwasher.

The canadian one does look like an OXO.

@PeppermintPatty that is probably the exchange rate between the US and Canada.

Put me in the don't peel corner. Too many nutrients in the skins, not to take advantage of.
So I'm no help. Sorry.
I feel that way when potatoes are in season. Believe me, you’d want to peel the bag of potatoes I did this week. These are the dregs of the season. Lots of dark spots in them too. I rarely eat potatoes at this time of year.

Have not peeled a potato in many many years, waste it of time, possibly scrub if real dirty, cut out any bad bits and cook, and yes that goes for boiling em also after cutting up a little smaller ....
Best part of a spud is in the skins IMHO!

Well, I do have a peeler for those emergency situations.
It's similar to the one @squatting dog posted, just more rust LoL. Not stainless like his.
May actually have come from my grandmother's kitchen. I have some of her stuff.
