Watching Paranormal shows reveals one thing

I seldom watch those shows, except if I come across a new one and I'm curious. But you're right. I've thought the same thing. Hey they went there hunting for ghosts, so why are they acting scared when they find "something" or even hear something?

Makes no sense to me.
I have had some similar experiences over the years and at no time was I frightened.
I was fascinated and felt privileged.

I don't think I'd be frightened either. But I might be afraid to be in a creepy building. I had a visitation in my apartment several years ago. I saw him in the mirror, watched him watching me for a little under a minute and surprisingly I wasn't frightened, although quite surprised. I think I had another one during which I did not see the entity. It kept tugging at my arm during my sleep and ticked me off, so I told it in no uncertain terms with my grouchiest attitude to leave me alone and it did.

The reason I feel there was an entity is because when I got up to go to the bathroom, usually the coldest room in the house, was warm. The hallway leading to the living room where my chair is, was also warm. But the area around my recliner, which is where I sleep, was cold both when I got up and came back. I've often heard that's a sign of a ghost being present.
