Great & Meaningful Quotes

Here is the last stanza of a poem written by a lady Jungian therapist named Katherine Whiteside Taylor in her 80s at that time who was also the teacher of a class attended by many including myself and a young woman who became my girl friend. Basically they are words of advice to a younger woman (maybe her younger self) about finding balance in love and standing on ones own feet. The first stanza is longer but probably makes it too long for this venue.

So you plant your own garden and decorate
Your own soul, instead of waiting
For someone else to bring you flowers
And you learn that you really can endure ...
That you really are strong
And you really do have worth.
And you learn and learn ...
With every goodbye you learn.
