FYI...you may hear almost any genre of music here, from exotic World music to R & B, Pop, Reggae and Inspirational. My daily song of the day may last a couple of days if I'm really into it. I first heard this song in a music thread here on the forum and it wowed me immediately. It's a beautiful song, so beautifully done. ...instrumentation, vocals, arrangements...all of it.

@Paladin1950 Thank you for that information. I read about Hugo on Wiki when I first heard the song. I had never heard of him before and wanted to learn more about him. I had also never heard the term "spaghetti western" and was surprised that song was used in a western. I also looked for other music by him and saw a picture. He was a very handsome man who looked somewhat like my late second husband.

I must've played this song 1,000 times after I bought the album. The lead vocalist is singing his heart out and his voice is compelling. I can only understand a couple of words, but that doesn't matter. Strunz & Farah's flamenco guitar playing is magnificent! The flutes and bass compliment each other perfectly near the end of the song. A masterpiece!

 
I love the vintage video footage they found for this song! Love the bongos during the bridge...that's what really "grabbed" me. I get a kick out of how the DJ is a little off key sometimes and how he pronounces his words. :D And bandleader Cab Calloway is going crazy back there! Can you do The Water Dance (DJ Flexx).


Here's another video of Flexx and park goers, including children. partying and getting down to the song (a slightly different mix). Hmmmm...DK Flexx is kinda cute. 😍
