  • Thanks for the clarification. I do, respectfully, disagree with the quote. What is a "traditional American"?? I'm 70 years old and probably 6th or 7th generation American. Is that not "traditional" enough? Are we supposed to return to the day when a female was not welcome as a construction worker, engineer, doctor, school superintendent, etc.? The quote almost suggests there is a "woman's place" and it is wherever the "traditional male" feels that is.

We are blessed to live where we can respectfully disagree with each other and move forward. So many, today, are not capable of being tolerant of other's opinions. Sad....

    Thanks again!!!!
In my original post you said you weren't sure how political correctness is now being used as a threat to democracy. Please indulge me in this quote.
" The major weapon the so-called liberals use on their war on American tradition is political correctness. All the things traditional Americans like, the so-called liberals go after as not quite politically correct. Thus, the girls replace the boys in areas the boys traditionally dominated, and now the sexually ambiguous take over the traditional women's domain, for instance the powder room. The result is a loss of traditional values, and, well, the world is turned upside down."
