Unbelievable, what a load of rubbish. Well that's my view for what it's all worth. I see nothing in it that is any good, it looks childish and I don't understand how it could be worth such a massive sum. I cannot imagine having that kind of money - or parting with it for that.

Of course others may disagree, if so please explain what makes that painting worth it. I would love to be enlightened.

Femme a la montre. Can't find a postable picture of it.

Is this it?

The thing about Picasso: he was talented enough to be a great classical artist in the sense most think of as such.

Obviously the nails chewed down to the numb made painting French tipped impossible. I'd knock off a few million for that. Knock off a few million more for the imbalance of the eyes between the pale face & the green one. Really need to reduce by more millions the watch face. The number representation is off.

Other than that the buyer can brag about how much was spent for what would be a great color $10.00 between the lines to paint.

The value is not in what it looks like, it's in its rarity, which is the only original there is. Oh, and it's by Picasso.

Now, that's a whole lot of money, but when you have people buying a Social Media site for 44bn, this is chump change.

As for the painting, I like it. Love the colors. love its abstract strangeness. It's worth what someone is willing to pay for it.

this picture is the one where Picasso famously told his wife and the world he was in love with another woman..

s a 1932 portrait of Marie-Thérèse Walter, the young woman who had become Picasso’s muse and secret mistress.

He first set eyes on her in 1927, when she was 17 and standing outside a famous Parisian department store. He said: “I am Picasso!” she recalled years later. “You and I are going to do great things together!”

I wonder what she thought when she saw this portrait? It is not a very complementary painting of a woman!! And why the huge arm, and what is that on her shoulder? It's so disjointed.
