Apparently 1/3 of endurance runners who won medals at Olympics and World Championships suspected of blood doping or cheating.

800 athletes/events had questionable results, Russia had the most 'abnormal' tests at 415 and 146 medals were awarded to these athletes. Some say the problem is as bad as the cycling doping scandals.
Everyone thinks the sprinters, swimmers or strength athletes the only ones to cheat but to consistently compete as one of the best in the world one must wonder. I know since the 70s they said the communist block countries were accused of cheating in the more strength oriented sports but this last story is nothing but another confirmation of state sanctioned cheating.
