Hmmmmmmmmmmmm! I would NEVER say something just to make people like me. What I say I mean, wanting people to like me has never been a consideration. It doesn't worry me whether people like me or not.

Although I never used the word ma'am where I'm from, we did say miss. All those words come naturally to me, and I've used them all my life...thank you and excuse me should be in the mix.
