My band played for world class ballroom dancers, back in our day, including prize winning jitterbug kings and queens. Those kids on BS were fair to OK, but nothing to get real excited about. Fun to watch, though.

That guy doing the splits made me think of my older brother. He was a good dancer but split his white jeans, and Mom mended them.

My days of American Bandstand go way back to the late 50's ... and my favorite couple, Kenny Rossi and Arlene Sullivan.
I had to hurry home from school to watch them everyday!

I loved all of the Bandstand shows ,especially in the 50's when Bandstand was filmed in my hometown of Philadelphia.
