2 US Teens Confess To Killing Italian Policeman

This was the 7 inch knife that was used by one of these teens...on the Policeman , it transpires and probably will not come as a surprise to many that just 2 years ago one of them punched a fellow stident so hard , the boy is now permanently brain damaged. Time to get these bar stewards out of society!!

Italian police have displayed the huge military-style knife that two American teenagers allegedly used to stab a Carabinieri to death, as they reveal the full brutality of the killing. Colonel Lorenzo D'Aloia held up an image of the 7-inch blade - known as a Ka-Bar trench dagger and associated with the US Marine Corp - during a police press conference in the capital today. He also revealed that the Rome cop was not carrying his gun when he was murdered, and added that even if he was armed the attack was so sudden he had little chance to defend himself. Finnegan Lee Elder, 19, and Gabriel Christian Natale-Hjorth, 18, both from San Francisco, are suspected of knifing Vice Brigadier Mario Cerciello Rega 11 times on Friday. Today's press conference came after it emerged Elder allegedly punched a fellow high school student during a party and left him 'with severe brain damage' in San Francisco in 2016.

There are several ways to kill someone, but a knife is a terrible way to die. First, using a knife makes it personal. The murderer wants to inflict pain. Stabbing someone and watching them bleed out is absolutely evil. This cop was only doing his job by assisting another man that had his backpack stolen. These thugs steal the backpack and then threaten him that if he doesn't give them 100 Euros and a gram of cocaine they will not return the bag.

The cop intervenes trying to get the backpack back and probably arrest these dudes when a scuffle breaks out, so they grab a knife and kill this young officer. They are arrested in their hotel room while preparing to leave Italy. Good thing they got them before they did.

I don't know a lot about Italian law, but after watching Amanda what's-her-name's trial, the Italians hopefully, won't screw up this case.
 
It's amazing to me that the young man was able to carry that knife through the various airport security checkpoints without it being detected and confiscated. Doesn't give me much confidence in airport security.
 
Please don't send him back here to the US. These violent jerks will get off wearing an ankle bracelet for a few months and be back to being the misery they always were.
