I'm having a very hard time feeling sorry for that guy. I have a two year old grandson and they can do the darndest things even when you're standing right beside them and watching them like a hawk. To put a loaded gun down on a chair and there's a two year old in the room! About as stupid as stupid can be.
Could also have ended up so much worse with that sweet baby killing himself or someone else.

In my case, it didn't take me to a specific video about that story, it took me to a page with many video thumbnails. Possible that's due to the web browser I use?

Bet he won't lay his gun down on a chair unsecured again when a child is in the house! Hopefully he'll be okay and the little boy won't experience any guilt for what happened.

There have been many similar cases, all involving someone who thought a gun would keep them safer when it had the exact opposite effect. In one case, a mother went shopping with a toddler, and a loaded gun in her pocketbook. Well, the toddler accessed the mother’s pocketbook, and shot Mommy. No intent, certainly, but a situation that need not have occurred had a gun not been packed. The mentality of gun possession and carry making one safe needs to be re-thought…
