I know there are substitutes that are available as knock off replacements, but I decided to stick with MS. My son is an IT supervisor for the state and he gets deals from them. In this case, he received 8 coupons that he could share to purchase a copy of 2021 Office for $15 each, so when he offered me one, I accepted it. My last version was 2010.

I use Word, Excel and occasionally Power Point most out of all the programs. I have had issues using Outlook in the past, so I don’t d/l it.

I use Open Office

It's free

Never looked back

My computer repair outfit turned me onto it after I got tired of paying $100/yr

I recently gave a brief thought to Corel Word Perefct.
I decided against that product and purchased Microsoft Office Home& Student 2021.

The Office I have is not a subscription. I don't have to update it each year and pay a price to do so. I bought it off of eBay a few years back.

I have Ashampoo Office, it has the same three things
as the Microsoft Office, it is compatible, plus, you are
able to save your work in several different versions of
texts.

It is on offer at the moment and office is £27.86 down
from £130, this I believe is a very good deal.
