LSU's Jayden Daniels is the 2023 Heisman Trophy Winner. LSU quarterback Jayden Daniels won the 2023 Heisman Trophy on Saturday night, earning college football's most vaunted individual award in his brilliant season for the Tigers.

My fav, Marvin Harrison Jr, from THE Ohio State University finished 4th.

Glad to hear it. And, thank you for posting it. However, I have never heard of Heisman winners going on to successful careers in the pro's by large numbers. Rather often too much was expected of them and the pressure of that often ended promising careers. Let's hope it will be different for Daniels.

The current crop of quarterbacks playing in the AFC and NFL are a pretty weak group. Purdy was the best of them this year, but he came from the bottom of the draft and selection process which makes the case that Heisman winners just do not do well in the long run.

I beg to differ, I feel many are doing well. Patrick Mahomes for one. But perhaps I have a different standard.

This year K.C. was a very out of balance team until halfway through the season with several loses. Also K.C. is widely regarded this year to be stronger defensively than offensively which means Mahomes and company are not up to their usual snuff. Yes. Mahomes is good as he has always been. But, he slipped this year. Maybe he's up at night too late doing commercial filming rather than concentrating on the game. (Off topic.)

Spot on my friend, spot on.
