"23 and Me" DNA Health Testing

Has anyone done the DNA testing for health related genes in our ancestry? This different from the ancestry testing.

Nope. I'm always leery of the hype of DNA testing. First off, there's the matter of who might have access to the results and what role would that play. For example, what if the company sells the info to insurance companies who then may decide to not cover you based on the fact that there is a possibility of a condition to develop.
Then, there's this....

Claims of safety and clearance by federal organizations can be confusing. Make sure you know what these claims are saying before you use them as reason to trust a certain DNA test. For example, 23andMe’s website claims “FDA-cleared for use with our Genetic Health Risk and Carrier Status reports.” However, the FDA doesn’t regulate genetic tests. Rather, this claim refers to the FDA’s announcement in April 2017 that companies like 23andMe can market directly to consumers about their “genetic health risk” tests for 10 diseases or conditions. With this endorsement from the FDA, companies can administer these tests without mentioning risks in ads because taking saliva doesn’t pose any health risks. This claim does not mean that the tests are viable for diagnostic or clinical use.

Did you like the results??

My results were mostly "variants not detected" so I guess I liked that result.

Of the 13 Health Predisposition items only three were identified and they all said "not likely increased risk".
Of the 44 Carrier Status items all were listed as "variant not detected".
Of the 8 Wellness items nothing out of normal detected.
The 37 Traits items were all things I already knew such as blue eyes, skin pigment, hair thickness. Not really informative.
I have a low level of Neanderthal dna. The only cave man traits revealed are minimal back hair (not sure that is a cave man trait but they flagged it) and being .1% shorter than the average.

This kit was a gift to me and frankly I am glad I didn't spend my own money on it.

Just checked my health results, and the only one that was pinpointed as a "likelihood", was the one for diabetes .. which I coincidentally was diagnosed with this morning at my doctor's office. Mine was a gift from my brother.

Reminds me of those "experts" who predict the next earthquake. Anybody who wants to sound intelligent can do the same thing - even if they don't have lots of letters after their name. All they have to do is say, "I think we will have another earthquake within the next few years." They'd be right.
So many people are being diagnosed with diabetes, a DNA test would be right more than half the time.
Same with blood pressure. The "normal" standard has been lowered so many times, (to sell more drugs), Just about everyone will soon have hypertension.
