23 Years of Eating Only Potato-Chip Sandwiches Has Ended.

25-year-old British woman had a real aversion to other foods, tried hypnotherapy.

After 23 years of eating the same, sort of strange, thing every day, a 25-year-old woman is a creature of habit no more thanks to hypnotherapy. In one of the more British stories in recent memory, Metro reports that Zoe Sadler somehow managed to subsist on "cheese and onion crisp sandwiches," that is, sandwiches made out of cheese-and-onion-flavored potato chips, because other foods made her feel ill. "My mum and dad say I tried other foods as a toddler but I always turned my nose up or refused to put them in my mouth," she says.

"avoidant/restrictive food intake disorder (ARFID)" - What will the shrinks think up next? My son went through a phase where he would only eat peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. This lasted almost a year, but the pediatrician said that as long as he chased them down with milk and a multivitamin/multimineral supplement, I needn't be too concerned. He eventually out-grew it on his own.

I have a lot of food hangs ups. When I was a baby, I went from formula to real food. in one step. Once I got food in my mouth, the hell with that formula stuff. My mom told the story of how I would not drink milk. Still won't. I do tend to eat the same things day after day. I'm not as bad as the potato chip lady.
BTW, it is potato CHIPS.

Yup, it's called "being a child."
or maybe they'll start calling it "Being A Child Disorder"...

So, what do you eat repetitively ? Personally, I get bored REALLY fast. I may eat a roast over the course of a week, but I prepare it as meat & potatoes, meat and noodles, meat and rice, meat sandwiches, etc., etc. By the end of a week, when there are no more leftovers, I'm really ready for a change in the meat!

Since this person is in the UK, then it was French Fries
in a sandwich that were eaten, that is what chips are
over here, your version of chips, are crisps, here.

Mike.
