Once bankruptcy proceedings start unclear where one's personal data might wind up and/or what will be done with it.

This was recommended months ago. They’ll be selling your/my info. Who ever reads the small print? Very few of us.

I doubt deleting your data will do any good. I have a Yahoo email acct. from the 1990s that I deleted. With a few clicks, I can re-activate it- ( I've done it) -computers don't forget. What happens, when all the data 23 & Me has amassed, is now up for the highest bidder? And new owner can do whatever he wants with his "property".
