6 ft. Of SNOW June 14th

Back in 1976, I took a friend of mine up to my parents cottage for the May 24 long weekend. The weekend was unusually hot so we dipped into the lake and played on the beach. The temperatures were in the 80’s.
The Monday morning we got completely snowed in with about 4 feet of snow.

Right. I remember you mentioned you went camping up here. Was it in Algonquin Park perhaps?
There are many beautiful provinces here in Canada. I’ve traveled out east to the ocean three times and traveled out west to the ocean but I’ve never been to Labrador which is where this snow is.

The scenery is beautiful and there is a lot of good fishing. That’s true but been to many of the states and you people have some gorgeous scenery also. We are so fortunate, aren’t we.

We visited the Northwest Territories, Yukon, British Columbia, Alberta, Calgary, etc. Never went to Algonquin Park though. You're right, we're both very fortunate to be surrounded by Mother Nature's finest beauty. :sentimental:
