I just read about a new case of a woman being pregnant with 9 babies. While she still has some time to go before her due date (which its always doubtful she will make it even close to term), what are these doctors thinking? While I am grateful that this is not a US based case (they are in Mexico just over the Texas border apparently) it is still a shame that in a world where the kids we have already here on earth arent being taken care of because of famine, economy issues, etc, that someone thinks bringing 9 babies that will no doubtedly have a hefty medical bill for years to come is a good idea. While everyone has the right to have a child (personally I think you should have to show you can take care of the child first), 9 is just too much. How can you as a parent honestly say you are giving each individual child what they need to grow up to be a wonderful human being? Do people really need to have litters of babies? The doctor that implanted 12 embryos into octomom lost his license for a reason. This is just shameful.
