97-year-old woman from North Carolina wins battle against COVID-19

After reading that, I have no doubt in my mind how important it was for her son to be there with her.

He is why she got well.

It has to be terrifying for anyone to fight the illness alone even with the best of professional care, not to mention the agony of worry for the families. This illness runs so deep, and in so many directions. The physical and the emotional tolls are are mind boggling.
