OH! I ADORE kitchens from the 20's and 30's! The one you are showing is very "Art Deco".
My kitchen style is more "primitive, farmhouse". (warm decorative, cozy)
My kitchen is full of antique kitchen signs, antique linens, Grandma's old bowls, old sifter, even a breadbox!

In the 1920s, kitchens in the UK were of varied design. It depended
on where you lived...how solvent you were and so on.
Some kitchens were cramped, some were huge with masses of cupboards and larders.
Not everyone followed the same style, I am happy to say!

The "Hoosier Cupboard" shown looks almost exactly like the one in my Grandma's kitchen. They were very popular since a lot of kitchens of the time didn't have cabinets. There was a sifter built in that you stored your flour in and you could sift directly from the spout.
