A bank in Wales says it received a postcard from 121 years ago

Talk about an inefficient postal system. The bank was still in existence after 121 years? I'm surprised. It might not have been.
no... first of all the bank wasn't there until after the war ended. There was houses there previously...

The post office says this was a card that was likely put back into a Post box recently.. someone who had it somewhere in a collection or a drawer, put it into the system very recently.. and it was delivered to what was the house which is now the bank.

The bank then made enquiries and have now found who they think is the family of the then 16 year old girl who was sent the postcard...

ETA in fact far from being inefficient the Post office delivered a postcard to an address with a stamp on it that was clearly not legal tender so to speak.
