I received such a warm welcome and very nice comments about my original song "An Older but Wiser Kind of Guy," I wanted to thank everyone! I am enjoying my time here. There are a lot of very smart and funny people who post on this forum.
As I said in my Introduction post I am beginning to have some success as a songwriter in Nashville. Some pretty big artists will be recording some of my original songs in their upcoming CDs.
During my career in TV and radio I also wrote and recorded song parodies that were played on the various cable TV news channels and radio stations around the world. Here's one I wrote when I turned 64 a little over a year ago.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tVpzimkr86g It's in my original one man show "Old Enough to Know Better" which is a musical narrative about everyone's senior years. It features original and parody songs.
I don't charge for the show and have performed it at many local theaters and senior centers. Hope it gives you a smile.
